Technical Support Specialist
A local technology company has an immediate need for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
Duties include screening incoming calls for first level email and internet connection problems and errors, as well as solving these problems for the customer in a technical support / help desk environment.
- Part-Time Position, Approx. 20 hours per week, with additional on-call opportunities
- Must be available late afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- 24/7 Operation
- Entry Level

- Superior customer service skills
- Excellent English oral communication, documentation, spelling & typing skills
- Beginner level IT diagnostic skills
- Strong commitment to learning new technologies
- Proficient with PC and Mac operating systems
- Familiar with:
- Mac OSX
- TCP / IP, DNS and FTP
- Basic understanding of network connectivity
- Ability to work well with fellow employees
- High school diploma or GED preferred
